Carol Marie (Wood) Bryza

In loving memory of Carol Bryza, age 78. Carol passed away on July 14, 2010 in Broomfield, Colorado after complications from pneumonia. Carol was born May 18, 1932 to Patrick and Marie O’Donnell of Searsport, Maine. After graduating from Colby-Sawyer College of New Hampshire, Carol began work as an orthodontist’s assistant, a career from which she eventually retired. She moved from her home of 45 years in Palos Park, Illinois to Boulder, Colorado in 2008 to be with her daughter after the passing of her late husband, Kenneth Bryza. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Diane O’Donnell. Carol is survived by her three children, Chuck Wood, Diane (Marty) Goss and step son Mathew (Zeyno) Bryza; four grandchildren, C.J. Wood, Annie Goss, Ben Goss and Maya Bryza; two brothers, Richard O’Donnell and David O’Donnell and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held in Houlton, Maine in the fall.
