Palos Park annexes 240-acre site

Palos Park officials and a majority of village residents have sought the annexation of the Archdiocese of Chicago-owned Holy Family Villa property ever since voters passed an advisory referendum in November of 1998 to extend the village’s western boundary to Bell Road resoundingly.

Now, nearly eights years later, village officials have finally fulfilled that goal.
